The Secret Supper Society started as a home restaurant, cooking for thousands of guests in my Oxfordshire home. Now it’s an online Society — for anyone who thinks about their next meal the way other people think about their next holiday.

Mackerel & Noodle Traybake
In order to make this recipe gluten free, use gluten free soy sauce. Mackerel is still an inexpensive fish and using just one fillet per person keeps the cost down to under £10. It’s still a filling dish with the noodles and vegetables.
The Secret Supper Society started as a restaurant in Jules’s dining room. Twenty-four people, six courses, a waiting list. Intimate and personal — but it was Jules cooking for an audience, not a society. The name was ahead of the reality.
Then came Instagram. Recipes and personality, 114,000+ followers in under a year. Proof that the appetite for what Jules does goes far beyond one dining room. But it was still a broadcast — Jules gives, the audience watches.
The Secret Supper Society is what happens when you bring the experience, the personality, the knowledge, and the fun together in one place — and share it among people who want to be part of a movement. Not a restaurant. Not a broadcast. A community.
